"Too Slow"

"Too Slow" is meant to be a little bit of self deprecation, a feeling that I (at the time of writing, I was 29) might still be too childlike for my own good. It is a statement of "I need to grow up!" said in as minimalist terms as possible.

A man grows up too slow nowadays, Though I admit It might just be An induction. The great world burns on its wheel, Spinning year after Woven year. I am always childlike. To whom do I answer, in the end? What is the final Outcome? When while I articulate? Summer races, past, an autumn Follows. Soon back to Spring again, And I, barely older
