Bordento W.N.

Bordento W.N.'s anything and cant read was born out of an Internet meme-catcher sort of thing that went around early 2008. If it is still up, you can see the Flickr Group dedicated to it (of which my cover was never submitted). The meme-catch in a nutshell is you get a random photo from flickr, words from a random quote, and title from a random Wikipedia article, and combine them all together to form a fictional band's fictional CD.

What I came up with was Bordento W.N. (the Wiki-title was "Bordentown"), a band I conceived of as a folksy blues act. Their album "anything and can't read" was to be dedicated to Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn and the travelling down river. The title comes from a quote by Mark Twain.

With the exception of one, all the titles for the CD were snippets of Mark Twain quotes, as well.

The final result was a good overall mix, I felt. A CD that I would honestly buy if I saw it in the store. I've thought about writing a couple of songs for it, and I might do that sometime in the future, but I will leave it right here for now.
