Turns out Goodreads has a Fail Whale
Headed over to Goodreads to see updates on a The Haunting of Hill House discussion in which I'm taking part, and got this message. I didn't even know that Goodreads had a fail whale (LGT: DuckDuckGo) but, well, here you go...
Kind of classy. I like it. Brazenly requotes Russell, tells us to flock to another site, assures us that they are increasing capacity. "Get us another server rack, Tommy, we are going down under pressure!" Rather than a whale, we have a sweet little Victorian girl reading.
Ah, now to go off and fantasize about someone's morning being wrecked because they really wanted to comment on an insightful review...
