Four Limericks (27 Aug 2009). On the nature of suffering, aliens, and...I don't know man. I was a weird dude back in 2009. Still am, but also was then...
One last hurrah for the ole Poetry e-mail list, aka "I remember" and my broken heart (20 May 2010). Years ago, I mostly distributed my poetry via e-mail. It was a strange and kind of special time, but one where I annoyed every damned body that I knew.
So, I've decided to embark on a couple of weeks of poetry experiment-ish...in progress (25 Jan 2013). Haven't written a poem in a while, this is one way to correct that: every day, a 10 line poem, building up to a fuller 140 line (ish) poem (ish) by the end of two weeks.
Southern Haiku (23 Sep 2009). A collection of haiku and what I mean by the term.
This is nowhere near all of my poetry. I'll do you one better: this is nowhere nearly all of the poetry ever posted to this blog.
At one point in time, I had a list of poems I recommended folk focus on while skipping the others because I felt some included were pretty good — or at least had an interesting context — and some were pretty bad and were mostly left in the context of an archival space. Which is the silliest reason to share things. "Here are some awful things I have written but they are mostly here because why not, eh?"
I have since grown up and accepted editing and now have only kept the poetry I would like people to see. I outright deleted the others. I'm sure some are there, somewhere, in the backend.
